Oakwood Hall

Inappropriate repairs had been carried over the years to the facade of this 18th century manor house. These ill conceived repairs resulted in acceleration in the rate of erosion to the substrate.

We carried out laboratory analysis of the original render in 2006 and subsequently undertook sympathetic repairs to the external fabric using a lime render. Traditional Stucco rendering techniques were used to form the quoins and window surrounds.
