The finished basement of the Red Cross on Nun Street, Newcastle upon Tyne
Basement prior to the commencement of works
This was an uninhabitable environment. Notice the growths from the ceiling.

Main area of the completely waterproofed basement
Full toilet facilities are installed.
With the addition of a kitchen, the basement is a functional and fully contained office environment.
60,000 feet of storage and office space was unusable due to dampness and poor ventilation. We provided a dry environment by installing a fully ventilated cavity drain membrane system. As well as offices and storage, a fully fitted kitchen and toilets were included in the scheme.
This project was added to our site on 5 November 2003 and is currently filed under Structural Waterproofing .
