Work Starts at Former Church

The Gateshead Visitor Centre

A three three contract of stone restoration & conservation at the Gateshead Visitor Centre follows on from our preliminary survey report together with subsequent surveys. Work is based on the principle of minimum intervention and concentrates on stone indentation, pinning of fractured stones and general repointing using sympathetic lime based mortars.
