Settlement Quickly Addressed

Helical Piles

4 No. Helical Piles were installed and connected to the substructure of this single storey extension in Co Durham to address differential settlement. A masonry beam was also installed at lower level to help distribute loads down to the pile points.

The works were carried out over two days using this non invasive technique which avoided the need for extensive excavation and internal disturbance.
