Pupils Rebuild School

Seaham School Pupils

Pupils at Seaham School of Technology have been rebuilding a section of their gymnasium which will count towards the school’s new Building Studies course. As Ranson is a local lad and former pupil of the school, we’re always looking for ways to positively influence the future’s of Seaham’s youngsters.

We approached the school last with a proposal to instruct some of the pupils so that they could fully clad a section of the school’s delapidated gymnasium using Novabrik. With all the checks and approvals in place, the scheme has finally come to fruition. As part of our local community work, St Astier is providing the materials and labour at a total cost of around £10,000. Staff are also on site to provide continuing coaching to assist the pupils in making the project a success.

Not only does the result look great but the pupils have taken to the project with enthusiasm and shown tremendous promise for a career in construction. We’d like to congratulate everyone at the school who got involved. Great work!

To top it all off, two of the pupils will be joining us for work experience shortly too.
