Have You Met James?

Jim Croft

You probably have. In fact, there’s a good chance you already know him but perhaps as Jim rather than as James. Jim and I first worked together in 2005 as client and contractor on a scheme in Darlington. From our first meeting, it was obvious he was a real talent and it wasn’t long before we managed to persuade him to come work with us. Looking back, Jim took a real risk to leave a larger, well established company for a small family run operation. We think he saw our potential too.

Our business has come along way in the last five years and there have been a great number of changes. We’ve more than quadrupled in size and we enjoy an enviable reputation in the North across all of our specialist disciplines.

Jim has played an important role in our success. He has worked tirelessly since he joined to build our reputation and win prestigious projects most notably in the heritage sector. With a raft of qualifications, Jim continues to study and develop and is currently part way through an MSc in Building Conservation – a qualification held by only a small number of people in the North.

In recognition of Jim’s efforts, I am delighted to announce that he has now been promoted to Associate Director – Heritage.

So, James Croft – Associate Director, we salute you.
