St Andrews church, in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, is the city’s oldest working church. The church is currently having a new electrical system fitted and we were there on site to diamond drill into the historic fabric to enable the installation of services that could be hidden as they passed from internal space to space.
Wet diamond drilling, as seen here, allows for precise holes to be formed quickly without dust or excessive noise.
