Concrete Repairs at Fawdon

Fawdon Flats

In early July we commenced a program of works for Wates Living Space, a partnering contractor to Your Homes Newcastle, to two blocks of flats named Shaftoe and Ewart at Fawdon, Newcastle upon Tyne. The works include concrete repairs and protective treatments including the application of an elastomeric anti carbonation coating, re-pointing, installation of remedial wall ties and cavity trays and the application of an insulated render system below every window opening. Associated works comprise a full roof covering and window replacement scheme and refurbishment to the balcony areas.
