Castle Keep Phase II Underway

The Castle Keep Roof

Phase II of the restoration & conservation work to the Castle Keep is currently underway. For this stage, we are focussing on repairs to the roof where the existing stone flags and drainage channels are being lifted up to allow a waterproofing system to be applied to the asphalt underdeck. The stone flags are then to be re-bedded to form ‘falls’ to the drainage channels.
